The Vacancy
Are you someone who has a natural passion for gardening and outdoor working? Do you genuinely want to learn new skills and develop your horticulture knowledge while being part of the number one horseracing and breeding operation in the world?
You might be the perfect candidate for our new Apprentice Gardener position. We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who wants to make a real contribution to the upkeep of our excellent grounds.
About the role
The successful candidate will be supported by our knowledgeable gardening team through their studies of the Level 2 Horticulture/Landscape Operative Apprenticeship. Reporting to the Head Gardener, you will be tasked with the maintenance of lawns using a variation of mowers as well as maintaining, pruning and caring for hedges, shrubs and perennials.
